Animation
Around 2010, an impressive number of Cinematic Arts students began contributing projects to the Wonderland Award. They come from the Animation & Digital Arts, Interactive Media & Games, and Media Arts & Practice divisions.
In 2014, in celebration of the tenth Anniversary of the USC Libraries Wonderland Award, an entire class developed projects around Lewis Carroll. The students spent time visiting and using the Cassady Lewis Carroll Collection. A number of their works were used in the Vision and Voices, Wonderland Unbound program which shared Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Hunting of the Snark and other rare materials from the collection by incorporating all aspects of Lewis Carroll’s genius in unique ways, such as digital animation and massive light projections of Carroll’s famous characters that covered the walls of Doheny. Many of these animations are from that event.
A special call out goes to Woodbury University who has contributed work to this category.
